Secret Gardens is a small landscaping business based in Mid-Sussex.

Having been made redundant in 1990 from a management job I decided to see if I could turn a hobby into a career. I have a diploma in organic gardening and in landscape design. Over the years I have worked with the designers Hilary Ivey and Ruth Palmer. I also helped Kate Buxton create a silver medal winning garden at Hampton Court Flower Show.

I do a small amount of desigh work which, for an average plot I charge £125 for a sketch plan – this I will credit against any subsequent landscaping work on the design. The initial visit is free.

I can also do advice visits to your garden which are charged at £25 for the first hour and £20 per hour for subsequent hours.
